The workshop:
This online workshop aims to give participants keys to work as activists and volunteers in favor of more intersectional LGBTIQ+ rights. Participants will learn about intersectional tools and practices, reflect on activist engagement and explore their own identity in connection to their engagement.
Key themes of the workshop will be:
Engaging as/with non-danish activists and volunteers in Denmark, reflecting on privileges, language, racism, and SOGIESC (Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression, Sexual Characteristics).
Target group:
The workshop is designed specifically for activists and volunteers engaged in working with international LGBTIQ+ rights in Denmark. You should be interested in learning more about intersectionality and international cooperation around LGBTIQ+ rights. You can be part of a volunteer/activist group or be independently interested in the area of international and intersectional work for LGBTIQ+ rights.
We especially encourage LGBTIQ+ migrants engaged in activism and volunteer work in Denmark to participate.
Registration deadline:
We kindly ask you to register before the 20/02/22.
